What it is

The "Wolverine" stack pairs two research peptides, BPC-157 (a synthetic gastric pentadecapeptide) and TB-500 (a synthetic fragment of thymosin beta-4), that have each been studied separately for soft-tissue repair. The combination is named for its popular association with rapid healing, but it is important to note that no human clinical trial has tested the blend itself. Individually, both peptides have a substantial preclinical (animal and in-vitro) literature touching on angiogenesis, cell migration, and collagen-related processes. The proposed rationale for combining them is that they act through largely non-overlapping pathways: BPC-157 is associated with VEGFR2-Akt-eNOS signaling and fibroblast activity, while TB-500 acts mainly through actin regulation and progenitor-cell recruitment. Direct human evidence is thin. A 2025 systematic review of BPC-157 in orthopaedic sports medicine found that of 36 included studies, only 1 was a clinical study, with the remainder preclinical animal models. TB-500 likewise lacks human efficacy trials and is banned in sport. Neither component is FDA-approved for human use, and both are sold for research purposes only. Any reported "protocols" are anecdotal and should be treated as research reference material, not medical guidance.
