Acetic acid 0.6% is a weak acid-based reconstitution vehicle used to dissolve basic peptides such as IGF-1 and IGF-1 DES that are insoluble in neutral vehicles.
What it is
Dilute acetic acid protonates basic amino acid residues in peptides with a high isoelectric point, improving solubility and stability in solution. It is a standard reconstitution vehicle for pH-sensitive peptides in preclinical experiments. For research use only. Not for human use.
