PE-22-28
PE-22-28 is a synthetic spadin-analog peptide investigated as a selective TREK-1 potassium channel blocker and antidepressant tool in preclinical CNS research.
What it is
PE-22-28 is derived from the naturally occurring peptide spadin and inhibits the TREK-1 (KCNK2) potassium channel, which is implicated in mood regulation and pain perception. In preclinical rodent models the compound has demonstrated antidepressive and anxiolytic properties. For research use only. Not for human use.
